Distribution (from Flora of Victoria): Vic, OTPL, MID, EHL, GHL, PROM, EG - also NSW.

Widespread and often locally common in southern parts of eastern Victoria, with outlying western populations in the Otway and Brisbane Ranges and northern populations in the vicinity or Mt Buffalo and Corryong. Grows mostly in heathland or heathy woodland, rarely extending to montane forests.
