Distribution (from Flora of Victoria): Vic. EHL, SNOW, EG - also NSW, ACT.

Occurs in dryish alpine heaths and Snow Gum woodlands, particularly amongst rocks, east from Lake Mountain. Locally dominant (e.g. on the Baw Baw Plateau).
