Distribution (from Flora of Victoria): Vic, EHL, EG - also NSW, Tas.

Usually on shallow soils on rocky, montane to subalpine areas in the north-east (e.g. Mt Buffalo, Pine Mountain, Wulgulmerang), but nearer sea-level in East Gippsland (Cann River, Genoa areas).
