Elli has undertaken a Science Research Project subject as a part of her Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science). The project involved sampling soil from various home gardens and native grasslands across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs, with the aim of conducting an eDNA analysis to reveal what invertebrates make up the local ecosystem.
